Advocacy
Giving a Voice to the Voiceless
At Jason & Thu Foundation (JTSF), our mission goes beyond providing direct support. We are committed to creating long-lasting, systemic change through advocacy—raising awareness, influencing policies, and standing up for the rights of the vulnerable.
Why Advocacy Matters
While charity addresses immediate needs, advocacy tackles the root causes. Poverty, inequality, limited access to education, gender-based violence, and lack of healthcare are often reinforced by weak systems, unjust policies, and silence. Advocacy shines a light on these issues, demands accountability, and pushes for reforms that ensure justice and dignity for all.
We believe that every child deserves education, every woman deserves protection, and every community deserves opportunity. Our advocacy work is driven by this belief—and by the stories of the people we serve.
What We Advocate For
JTSF is passionate about several key areas:
- Child Education Rights – We advocate for policies and budgets that support free and quality education for all children, especially girls and orphans.
- Gender Equality & Women Empowerment – We campaign against gender-based violence, early marriage, and discrimination, while promoting women’s leadership and inclusion.
- Youth Engagement – We push for platforms that amplify youth voices, foster innovation, and support young leaders.
- Community Health Access – We raise awareness about sanitation, mental health, and reproductive health, especially in underserved areas.
How We Advocate
Our advocacy efforts are carried out through:
- Community Sensitization Campaigns
- Workshops and School Dialogues
- Media Engagement (radio, social media, storytelling)
- Policy Dialogues with Local Leaders
- Youth-Led Initiatives and Marches
We work closely with like-minded organizations, government departments, schools, and faith-based institutions to amplify our message and reach the grassroots.
Real Impact, Real Stories
From organizing girls’ empowerment forums in schools to mobilizing communities around child protection laws, JTSF’s advocacy efforts are creating ripple effects. Parents are more informed, children are more protected, and local leaders are more engaged.
Our advocacy is not just about speaking out—it’s about empowering others to find and use their voice.
